There is always something happening at Bluejean Corner.
I want to share with you some images of the changes throughout our home as we continue to update.
Before we moved I wanted the house to have a fresh and new look so we needed to paint the entire house. The ceiling, walls, doors, trim and cabinets. The existing colors were apricot, light pink and cream. Floors and cabinets were maple.
I wanted a soft warm and neutral color so we began to repaint.
Beige and gray became a greige combined with a dove white color for the trim and interior doors.
The greige goes well with everything from furniture, area rugs, floors, hardware, window treatments and art work. It is a clean and warm color and blends so well with everything we already have. One of the reasons I really enjoy this color combination is because it works so well with all seasons. I get so many compliments from men and women on it.
Griege is a perfect combination of gray and beige and it isn’t outdated. The doors and trim in white you can see gave us a beautiful comfort with a classic look that I was looking for. It has worked so well in every room.
The cabinets in the kitchen and the bathrooms are painted a beautiful dark gray.
I will be sharing a later post about the floors being redone along with the beautiful wood shutters for a more up to date window treatment for our home.
