It’s the day and season for fresh herbs and spices. An essential part to the flavor in everyday cooking. I like growing my own herbs and spices. It’s a great way to add freshness and variety to my recipes.

Combine fresh chopped herbs with your favorite spices to create a flavorful dry rub. Or mix herbs with oils, vinegar and salt to create a simple tasty marinade for meat, fish, poultry and vegetables. We will be sharing some of our summer recipes in later posts.
