Let me share a book that I just read and I have it on my coffee table: The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse by Charlie Mackesy. I got it at Barnes & Noble. It’s about friendship, love and kindness. The book talks about friendships in a way that shares a message of hope, bravery and the love of friendship.
I had a friend and her husband visit recently and they commented on my library of books. My friend’s husband commented in a joking way that he only liked picture books. I said I have just the book for you to read. I gave him The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse and he read it in about 30 minutes and loved it.
Being home bound we all cope in different ways, but there is nothing like sharing a good book with a friend. Kindness goes a long ways at any age.
